I read Royal Caribbeans brief refund policy. According to the website, I'm entitled to get all my money back except for a $250.00 deposit per person. However, I already paid the entire balance for the vacation, and have already paid about half of that balance to my credit card company. Does royal caribbean mail out checks since I already charged and began paying for the vacation?

First, if your cruise is more than about 65 to 70 days away and you cancel you can get a full refund. If you are within that window, less than 65/70 days, you get back the cost of the cruise minus the $250 deposit. They will issue a credit to your credit card company and then you will have to contact your credit card to get a refund check from them. That's the way it worked when I got a refund. It may take a few days for the credit to be posted on your account and it may also be a good while, depending upon when your statement closes and you receive it, before you see it on your monthly statement.
No. Since you originally paid with a credit card.....your credit card account will be credited. The only time they give out checks as refunds is when you have paid a deposit with cash during boarding. Don't anticipate a refund anytime soon. It takes weeks to show up.
