I have had a few experiences with the paranormal over the years and most all of them I did not go looking to have. They either came to me or happened while I was there. They most assuredly can change the way you view things and change your perspectives as well as your perceptions . The best way I can describe it is you feel like you are seeing or experiencing that you were not supposed to and you feel odd about it . If you don't believe or are skeptical, that's ok as I was not completely sold on ghosts and supernatural beings but after I had my first experience, I was initiated to the club , so to speak.
Im sure there are degrees of various emotions that most go through during and after a paranormal encounter. From being startled to complete shock are probably the most common. The one experience that stands out to me most was one that I was completely not prepared for and in a particular location that I would of least expected to occur. Though I don't regard it as scary, it was probably the more challenging I've encountered.
I was attending Catholic mass in a very old Antebellum Cathedral one morning. I am not Catholic but I like to attend from time to time. I was taking a Real Estate class and it was not time for it to start so I thought I would go to mass and possibly ask for some spiritual guidance.
The Morning mass was not that full and there couldn't of been 8 or 9 people in the congregation including myself. As I am not Catholic I usually sit in the back near the entrance and just observe the mass as well as pray when they do. On this particular morning sat near the back and it got under way as usual. They invited the parishioners to the Alter for communion. I stayed seated. As the priest was saying a prayer, I bowed my head. During the prayer there could be heard a door opening behind me. You could hear the individual walking through the door and making a commotion. I kept my head bowed but couldn't help to think that they were making allot of noise. It sounded like they had large bags they were toting along with them. Kind of like a homeless person carrying all their belongings. They seemed to settle in the isle in the back directly across from where I was sitting. They shuffled along through the isle and then got settled. The sounds they were making seemed to echo throughout the cathedral and seemed quite loud. When they finally stopped, I looked over to my left, with my head still bowed . I looked all around but I could not see anyone anywhere. I had certainly heard someone come in the cathedral, make a bunch of noise and then stop. I looked again and kept looking for a moment. I then glanced forward to the alter and just as I did I saw everyone around the alter including the priest looking back at me.
It was as though they thought I was making the noise, but I surely did not. I then got a very strange feeling. That if there was no one across the isle from me and that if everyone there heard something too then something did happen , but what ? As I looked up I noticed that the priest had an unusual look on his face and after I left I got to thinking about it. At first I got to thinking that his scowl was possibly more significant. That possibly this had happened before and he knew about it but gave me that glance as to keep it to myself. I am uncertain of what was meant , if anything was at all but I am certain that I heard something that morning , we all did and we did not imagine it. Expect the unexpected ! Take care.
Funny how they mention the hallucinations. Hallucinations and spirits go hand in hand, but people would call them visions way back when.
Saw "pan" once. Some shadow people/beings. a "light being", she went "sssshhhhh" next to my ear. an "alien". A ufo. what people would call a ghost, looked like a person, but i don't think that it was.
I've been grabbed. Smelled the sulfur. I've been burned. I've been horribly shocked before also, both were physically painful.
During my haunting, i would look at the clock at the same time over and over and over and over, it started with three, and then went on to other times.
Visions of the future, that part was true as well, but it isn't just guess work or repitition, it's every little detail, even what i think and feel at the time. But this is no different than wading down a river, and having someone who has already been down it which way it will turn, it has to flow a certain direction.
Also, during one haunting a man showed up where i was and bought me some chicken, he then started talking about how he has power over the spirits and that i should come to church, i never mentioned any spirits. Not to mention i know who they "cast them out by". The demons just told me. I mean wow, what a fuqing scam that is!
It really sucks when your life becomes a horror movie you know.
ok, here's my story: not long ago, a person with the username of 'TardisAndTheHare' started preaching in a question that didn't want religious preaching. <--- scary @$$ story huh :P
Scary paranormal things don't exist such as ghosts, demons, evil fairies and witches . They are only your nightmares, so there is nothing to be afraid of.
All psychic energy came from God. Even evil spirits came from God, but God purged them out of himself.
God told my group of two dozen psychics to oppose an extremely powerful demon that used its great power to break past the boundaries of hell that God put there to hold in evil spirits. That extremely powerful demon, made of many spirits (all evil, and all ancient) inhabited the body of President George W. Bush from his birth. The bible (Revelation) calls him the BEAST. Revelation 17.18 says that the BEAST was in charge of the United States (most powerful nation in the world).
The BEAST was predicted to break out of hell for thousands of years in thousands of languages and cultures around the world. You can read about the BEAST starting the end of the world in Mayan artifacts, the holy Christian bible (Revelation of St. John the Divine).
God weeps for the lost souls who follow Satan. Those spirits used to be part of God. God is composed of perhaps trillions of souls, and most of the souls are good and are in perfect agreement (because they have been together since the beginning of time, long before the creation of the universe).
God weeps when people follow the teachings of Reverend John Hagee (a devote follower of Satan). Because God knows that Hagee's ministry will be tortured in the brimstone fires of hell for all eternity.
People have been so dazed by deception, that they can't see that Reverend Hagee follows Satan.
You can find Satan by looking for the blood trail. There are dead bodies everywhere that Satan goes, and, usually, Satan convinces others to do the killing (like the war in Iraq, for example).
Satan orders wars and death......Reverend Hagee (devout follower of Satan) orders wars and death, and Hagee says that we should fight these horrible wars in the name of Christ.
Satan orders greed. . . Reverend Hagee (devout follower of Satan) orders greed.
Satan deceives. . . Reverend Hagee (devout follower of Satan) deceives.
God must rid himself of souls that follow Satan, though their only crime is to follow an evil leader. This is why God weeps so.

There is no evidence of ANYTHING paranormal. People who say ghost stories are either hallucinating or lying.
