I have naturally very dark brown, fine hair (in an assymetrical chin length bob). It's in good condition as I haven't put a colour through since last October. I want to dye it purple (have wanted to since I was about 13 - so, for 8 years!) I'd have to pre-lighten my hair anyway, would it be ok for me to pre-lighten my hair using Schwarzkop Nordic Blonde Intensive Lightening - does anyone have experience with this product? It's half the price of Manic Panic bleach and I've used their highlighting kit before with good results.
And the only good unnatural-colour hair dyes available to me are Manic Panic - tbh i just don't like the colours, they're much too light for what I want. So if i apply a permanent colour a few days after bleaching, would that be ok or would it totally fry my hair? I'm looking at using Schwarzkopf Brilliance Violet Vision as the purple colour.
Any help or advice would be awesome :)
Thanks

TBH if you want to lighten your hair, your best bet is just to buy some powder bleach and some peroxide developer from Sally's. Then you can control quantity and consistency. Buy 30vol peroxide, then you'll only need to keep it on for 10 minutes or so to get it light enough to go purple.
Ask a Sally's assistant if you aren't sure what you're after.
