Schwinn partner with a car company a long time ago?
My uncle was telling me how schwinn had a deal with a car company to give away a bike with the purchase of a car... and t\i think the bike had the car company sticker on it... anyone know about this?

Only one I could think of was buy a Chevy Stingray, get a Schwinn Stingray.
Could have been a local dealer thing and not a manufacturers too.
But to get a better answer maybe give the Schwinn web site or one of the collector Schwinn sites a shot. They would know for sure if it happened.
I know someone who got a free schwinn when they purchased a new Lexus a few years ago.
I thought it was silly because there wasn't room in the car to haul the bike home, so they had to go back and pick up their "free" bike with a bigger vehicle.
Recently they totaled the Lexus, luckily they still have the bike! (I wish I was joking about that)
