Ive heard that you get a stringy white snot looking liquid RIGHT before your period but ive also heard that you get it around 14 days before your period. I am having sex on friday and I am hoping and praying that this is ovulation which would give me 14 days or im hoping that i get my period tonight or tommorrow which would give it a close but enough 5 days for it to pass. any advice?
Update:to clear up the question, im trying to figure out if im going to get it soon.

just so you know, you dont have to be ovulating in order to get pregnant your chances or just higher, you can get pregnant at anytime, and yes usually you do get a white usually semi thick discharge when your ovulating
its just discharge, it comes and goes during all times of your menstrual cycle (bleeding or not bleeding). you cant avoid it and you cant tell exactly when you will have it. it also doesnt mean your ovulating or not either. ovulation tends to happen a week to 2 weeks before you actually bleed. because the bleeding (your period) is what happens when you ovulate and the egg isn'tt fertilized with a sperm. i dont know if this gives you more of an idea of the answer you are looking for but your question wasnt very clear.
You have discharge when you are ovulating which is normally 10-14 days from the first day of your period thats the timeframe that you could get pregnant. Be careful and use protection.
I'm very sorry, I have no idea what your question is?
Usually you don't get any kind of discharge right before you start. It is usually when you are ovulating, which is not always 14 days. Everyone ovulates on a different cycle.
