I think this is the next step for McNabb's departure. I live in Philly and this will NOT go over good here. He is making millions of dollars. He needs to just shut up. This is getting very old playing the race card.

Kraet, Look at the years when the Eagles made the playoffs and went to the NFC Championships. Only 1 of those years they had a true #1 receiver. I mean he had players like Torrance Small, Charles Johnson, Nay Brown, Tod Pinkston. And he won with those players. Lets face it he wants to be in the spotligt. It's not race. He's jealous. He needs to keep quiet. He could stop playing football today. And have enough money for the rest of his life. While everyone here has to work everyday.

He had the nerve to say that Peyton Manning doesn't get criticized! Man, people were all over Peyton for years about not being able to win the big game until he finally proved them wrong!

Guess what - Tom Brady doesn't get criticized too much because he has proved 3 times that he is the best.

Grossman went to the SB but is still criticized horrendously.

Romo fumbled a snap, lost the playoff game and is still being roasted for it!

Jake the Snake, Trent Dilfer (SB winner!), Brain Leftwich, Ryan Leaf, ... the list goes on and on.

If anything some African American QBs are over-rated. Vick was way overrated for all the good he did his team and McNabb probably would have been very mediocre without Randy Moss.

Yes Randall Cunningham did have this problem; only his was legit. McNabb addressed something real; it just doesn't apply to his problem. Him using race like that takes away credibility from people who express legitimate concerns.

Mr. McNabb is just trying to take the attention away from his bad play. His problem isn't race, its his busted game and his mediocre wide receivers. If you suck...you get criticized.

That said it does seem like he's playing the race card because he isn't performing. It seems to be a frequent thing that when a Black person gets criticized they'll claim it's because of racism.

Course then comments like the one by "Barometer Soup" only add fuel to that fire. There are plenty of QBs and athletes who are over-rated - irrespective of race.
