I have to write a paper on a current event and apply some social psychology theories... I have been looking through the news but I can't seem to find anything to write for 5 pages long... I just need help with finding a current event that I can relate to some sort of topic in social psychology like persuasion, groupthink, attitudes, altruism, conformity, etc...

Any help would be greatly appriciated!
