building snowmen outside
making ornaments or gifts for mommy and daddy
have someone dressed up as Santa Claus (good idea for little kids but bad idea for older kids)
singing carols?
What you could do is make up some peices of papers with christmas stuff on them like: christmas trees, elfs, santa claus, reindeer, toys, ornaments, ect.....Then tape one item on the back of the kids backs, make them go around to all the other kids and play the guessing game. Have them ask yes or no questions. My FFA group did this for an orphanage, and the kids absoluetly loved doing it!
The day after thanksgiving all of us kick off the Christmas season with the help of adorning. We already a pretend tree so we positioned on the Christmas music and initiate putting the tree up, and all the embellishes. a number of them are older than me and all of us snigger. We take out each and specific ones have thoughts to be recommended. Others get popular for a jiffy. that is my well known, being with my family individuals, making a music songs, and adorning the tree mutually.
ballon decorating
Have the children decorate the balloons to represetn snowmen.
Non-Competitive musical chairs (Chairs are not removed) children will have a good time just going in circles and looking for a chair to sit down, Get music that goes fast and slow in tempo and instruct them to walk like a cat, crawl like a baby, slither like a snake, hop like a frog etc.
Christmas card decorating- Have the children make their own cards to give to one-another to neighbors or to a senior citizen home.
Christmas Movie- Its always nice to pop some pocorn, decorate some cookies and sit down to watch a short classic Christmas cartooon.
Puppet Show- Have the children make their own X-mas puppets and have them take turns putting on a puppet show for one another.
Hope these help, have a great time!
