You're not addicted to masturbation.
As a male (especially a young one) your body is meant to and requires frequent ejaculations and masturbation is a safe and effective way to satisfy this "need" in the absence of traditional sex.
You aren't losing or diminishing your ability to produce sperm and seminal fluid either, you make both on a consistent 24/7/365 basis and your body simply replaces any amount you have ejaculated in a short time. In fact, frequent ejaculations keep all of the associated organs and glands well exercised and promotes their healthy operation.
As long as you do not let masturbation interfere with your normal daily activities, social interactions and responsibilities, there is nothing wrong, bad or harmful about it.
Your body keeps manufacturing sperm and semen throughout your life, that's why a man who is 80 years old can still have children. The only time you should worry about masturbating is if it takes over your life, you do it in places you shouldn't like at your desk in school, under a blanket while everyone is watching TV or in the car on a long trip, when it becomes a compulsive thing where you do it without even realizing you're doing it. If you're having a **** in the morning, after school, before bed that's perfectly normal and you will slow down as you get older.
love/hate answering this questions so many times I have. I use templates, if I don't and type my answer to this question every time I see it I'm afraid my fingers will wear off.
It only takes a matter of maybe 2 hours after ejaculation to recover your sperm count. I started at about age 12 at least once a day, everyday day sometimes up to 5 times a day on occasion and at 26 and 28 y/o old I fathered 2 children no problem, my wife got her tubes tied because she was getting a little bit old to be having more children. I am 55 and have continued to masturbate, almost everyday, sometimes several times a day and I will make a bet with you that my sperm count is normal

The past hundred years of advance in sexual medicine tells us that masturbation is very, very healthy—people who masturbate more, on average, have healthier relationships, live longer, know more about their own bodies and have better sex lives.

Is it necessary to masturbate at all?
Yes, it's necessary for males to masturbate.
Let's take a step back from masturbation and talk about ejaculation. It's necessary for males past puberty to ejaculate. The male sexual organs produce a number of fluids that have to be eliminated periodically. Doctors specializing in sexuality generally agree that a male must ejaculate (at a bare minimum) once every two weeks to avoid damage to his sexual functioning. However, more than 98% of males under the age of 60 ejaculate much more often than this. A team of doctors led by Dr. Graham Giles published a study in 2003 that found that males who ejaculated most often when they were young had the least incidence of prostate cancer later. They state that masturbation is healthier for the prostate than having intercourse, because masturbation doesn't expose the prostate to STDs. Dr. Giles recommends that younger males masturbate at least six times a week.
So ejaculation is necessary. If a male doesn't ejaculate by having intercourse (or wet dreams, which are uncommon in boys who have learned how to masturbate) -- then masturbation is necessary. So as a practical matter, yes, it's necessary for males to masturbate. Very few males claim to never masturbate, and some authorities say there are no males past puberty who never masturbate.
The average male masturbates well over 1000 times before he ever has sexual intercourse.

Masturbate to avoid damaging my sexual function? Good enough for me!
Your body produces sperm as needed. If you use some more is produced. Masturbation will not interfere with this. Enjoy your body
Your body is making new sperm all the time.
You have an adequate stock you will not
run out, your body will replace what you
"lose" in about 12 hours.

No such thing. Enjoy...
