when you look at my spiral from the side, its exactly straight up. but when you look at it from the front, the leg thats up there is tilted to the side. I lift my left leg up in an inside spiral. It looks like my left leg is tilted to the side about 160 degree angle... very ugly from the front please help

Though this may sound weird, try to just squeeze your butt really tight (it may sound crazy, just give it a try,) and try to turn that hip out, and also try to kind of bring the leg you are lifting over the other leg, it will not go over the other leg but it will feel like it and it will bring it more "up"
also, try to do the spiral off ice and see if you can fix the issue there
