States that want to secede do so because they don't see eye to eye with what is going on in Washington. There are A LOT of people that are against the way Obama wants to handle his spending and how he intends to pay for it. There are also a lot of people that feel that it's not in the American spirit for the government to force us to buy health insurance against our will, or face fines.

Even though there are various 'reputable explanations' it boiled down to 1 factor overall.... The 'rights of a State to pick its own fate within recommendations set for in the constitution'. Just about the right of a State to inform the Federal executive "NO".....(even the President, the house of Representatives and the Senate). Due to the fact that Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger informed the Federal executive last year 'No" and faced State sanctions for doing so/.... It makes me marvel if that predicament is really over or no longer. Outcome?
