Hey guys-so for the past three or four days I have had zero appetite. I haven't wanted to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Whenever I have eaten it has been because I acknowledged that I should at least eat something to keep up my energy and health, but it wasn't because I was hungry. This is strange because usually I love eating. I usually eat a lot, and feel good about it. I don't eat unhealthily. I eat a lot of veggies, fruits, fish, etc.
All last week I was finishing up moving from my old place to a new apartment, and I am getting on a plane (which I hate) in a few days to go home to visit friends and family. I have heard that loss of appetite can be attributed to stress and or anxiety, which I have felt quite a lot over the past week. School also ended last Tuesday. I haven't felt stressed per se, but I have occasionally felt butterflies in my stomach.
This would be fine with me if it weren't for one last symptom: when I do eat, it's almost as if my stomach is confused because it has food in it at last, so I feel very full, and also whenever I burp (sorry) I can taste what the food would taste like if it were vomit. It's really gross, and it's really uncomfortable for me. Especially because throwing up is a huge fear of mine, and I haven't since I was 6 years old, and I am now 19. (Knock on wood).
I was wondering if any of you have experienced similar things, and or think this is normal?

This doesnt seem normal. If it does persist you should consult with adoctor or a nutritionist.
My guess is that what is happening to you has been due to stress. Stress has different effects on different people. It causes some to feel hungry and over eat, and others to lose their appetite. Once you are back to your stress free routine, your eating habits will go back to normal. But as I mentioned before, if these symptoms persist, ask for professional help.

If you are overweight, relax, good time to burn some excess fat.
If you are NOT overweight, take some vitamins and eat some junk food since it's calorie dense. That's what I do when I don't feel like eating. I usually don't eat junk either but your body needs energy. The no appetite thing doesn't last that long for me so I only have to eat junk for a couple days at most.
If you appetite doesn't come back, go see a doctor.
