i have always wondered why this happens. When i close my eyes and move my head around back and forth for like a minute and then tilt my head back i get this weird cool kind of feeling that i cant explain.
What causes this? sorry i know its a weird question.

You're in touch with your inner ear, which keeps track of your position, even when your eyes are closed.
It's kind of like when you jump into water, and for a few seconds you don't know which way is up. The fluid in your inner ear (which is actually three tubes running in three different planes) moves around and settles, and the nerves where it settles tell your brain how you're oriented.
When you close your eyes, you lose visual input (which your brain also uses to orient itself), so it relies on your inner ear. When you swish your brain around, it moves the fluid around, and it takes a moment to settle—that's the cool feeling. It's basically your brain in a momentary state of confusion.
EDIT regarding Eck: It IS the same thing that happens when you spin around.
It's like when we used to spin around in circles till we fell over when we were little kids. It's like a natural high, then we get older and experience real highs, and spinning isn't so cool anymore, it just makes us nautious. Remedy... Go get f*#@ed up and stop with the wierd sh*t
that's u gettin dizzy, same happens when u spin around in a computer chair for 10 minuts
you're probably decreasing the blood flow to your brain, which is decreasing the oxygen, and causing damage to the cells, giving you a high feeling.
hahhaha i agree with satin pants lol
