Three weeks ago today I moved into a new house all on my own. It's nice, not very big and not close to any towns, its basically an old cottage type house. I have noticed strange smells in the house that will move around and then disappear at random. I also hear what sounds like someone sprinting up the hallway at around 2-3 in the morning. Things are always being moved in my house and appliances will turn on by themselves. The most frightening experiences so far happened two nights ago when I was getting ready for bed. I heard what sounded like thumping in my ceiling so I walked to the source of the thumping and heard strange but harsh whispering noises coming from the room at the front of the house, they didn't speak in english and I don't even know if it was speaking at all but it was definitely frightening. I turned on the light in the front room and screamed as suddenly the standing lamp fell over on its own. I shout some rude words along the lines "Leave me along! Go away, you don't scare me you f***** bastard." And then went to bed.. The next morning I woke up with a large scratch down my lower rib cage and upper stomach, it's deep and has a small less indented scratch right beside it. I am starting to get terrified. I heard the whispers again and things keep happening, unnatural things. Help!
