suzuki vz800 marauder fuel pump problem?
I have a 2000 vz800 marauder and the problem I have is fuel leaking from the fuel pump itself when the bike is running.Does this mean I need a new pump and is it going to be expensive?
Update:I have checked the fuel pipes and they are fine, it's the pump that's leaking.Is there a pump from another bike that will do the job as I've been quoted nearly 300 pounds for a new one and that's a bit pricey for me at the moment.Any advice and help would be gratefully received.

If your lucky the hoses coming off the pump can be replaced. If fuel is running out the pump is pumping. Maybe a fitting is loose. Are they rubber or steel lines??? Check the clamps.
The problem will be solved simply by changing the O ring or to the extreme by changing the pump assy. Get it checked by a mechanic.
