I had the same problem as you when I first started using tampons. First, if the tampon is a size like Super it isnt the best to start out with. I recommend the U by Kotex Slim Fit Tampons. These go in super smooth and are super easy to use! Not to mention comfortable! :) As for how you are putting it in, it works best if you sit on the toilet with your legs apart, and reach under and put it in at an angle towards your back. You will know when its right when it just goes in without having to force it. Then keep pushing until your fingers are up to your body and the actual tampon is comepletely inside you. hold it there and then just push the little stick thingy on the end (sorry i cant explain it well haha) and make sure you push it all the way before pulling the applicator out. here is the video i watched and it helped alot! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNP0qhBdfHI
Try not to force it in or else you will get sore down there! Its okay if it doesnt work out the first time, just give it a rest and try again tomorrow! :)
Applicator tampons were always a pain to me personally. They never ever worked properly for me and typically ended up nowhere near where it's supposed to be which was uncomfortable to say the least and quite maddening when you recall advertisements that tell you the woman wearing the product can't feel it. Seriously consider O.B., yeah you have to use your finger and wash your hands after putting it in, but the beauty in it is that you can actually feel how far you're placing it and know for certain it's in the right spot. Since you've already got a bunch of applicator tampons that I'm sure you don't want to go to waste you could just toss the applicator part of it and push the tampon in with your finger instead. Seriously once you do it this way you will never go back to applicators. I know I never did. Good Luck!
BTW: having a pantiliner for backup protection when the tampon has reached its absorbant capacity is a good idea. Keep a close watch when you go to the bathroom so that you know when it's time to change the tampon. Heavier flow days will bring about more frequent changes and lighter flow days will prove to last a while longer before you need to change it.
I had this issue when i first tried to use a tampon and like yourself it wouldn't go in far enough, and i found it very painful. It may be very helpful to stop right now and try again tomorrow if possible as you may end up quite sore if you persist. However the advice i am giving is assuming you are using non-applicator, i don't even know how to use those. Sit on your toilet seat or squat as low down as possible and just make sure that your pushing towards your stomach once it's inside you and just keep trying, you will get there eventually. Good luck xxx
What kind are you using? The first time I put mine in they hurt and they still sometimes do try using the playtex pearl ones with the applicator or u by Kotex with the plastic applicator those work best for me hope this helped!
You're the girl with the yoga pants, right? ;) Well congratulations for finally trying. I know it can hurt in the beginning, but all I can say is keep practicing and eventually you'll get the hang of it. It is hard to explain how, but just keep trying and sooner or later it will feel like nothing is there.
I promise once you get the hang of it you'll never want to wear a pad again! I know I never did!
perhaps your physique is in basic terms getting sore from utilising the tampons a lot? Im no longer likely constructive, yet i comprehend that once i take advantage of tampons for the duration of my era, if i take advantage of them too a lot, i'm getting relatively sore, crampy, and uncomfortable. attempt utilising pads for a at the same time as after which switching lower back. that usually facilitates for me. Or attempt switching manufacturers. I dont comprehend what variety you utilize, yet attempt utilising Tampax Pearl. those tend to be tremendously comfortable. sturdy success!
Why are you not wearing maxi's?
You are too small down there is what it sounds like.
You do not need to wear tampons. First, they are disgusting as you are touching blood and touching your bleeding thing. Sick!
Two, tampons feel like you got a guy's thing in you. Sick.
Three, they are not absorbent and do leak more often than a maxi.
are you Aiming towards your Lower Back& NOT straight up?
the vagina is Curved- you must Angle it
