Tea Rooms in Los Angeles??
For my mom's 50th, I want to take her to a really special luncheon type thing with all the important woman in her life...
I wanted to do it at a Tea Room or something very posh and feminine.
the only one I can think of is at the Huntington Museum. I think it's in Pasadena....
Are there any others????

Goll Darn It ---there is one right in town--I can't think of the name but there actually is one, south a block or two (not far off) Wilshire, east of Fairfax...It's like the house and garden thing...Everyone dresses up and wears these big old hats......Sorry, if I think of it I will let you know.

I have also been to both the one in Huntington Gardens in Pasadena and the one at the Ritz Carlton...both really good..although the Ritz is a little pricey. There is also a good one at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown L.A.
there's a cute tea room in Cypress.. it's on Valley View right near the 405. It's an English shop and also a tea room.. the shop is called Shamrock and Thistle, the tea room is The Sussex Teapot.

They have a very fancy tea thing at the Ritz Carlton in Pasadena. It's located in their lobby lounge. We wen't there for my cousin's wedding shower. Very nice!
There is also another one in Pasadena called Chado Tea Room. It has wonderful teas and sandwiches but not posh. BUT you can go shopping afterwards because it's right in the heart of Pasadena.
