I heard that it resides in the internet so there is no real way to attack it, but I also heard that while it has no core for his intelligence there is a Cold Fusion reactor that Skynet uses to draw its power source to maintaining control of the machines so if the reactor was to be destroyed Skynet would be virtually disabled but that it is guarded by T-1000000 making nigh impossible to destroy it, is that true? then the reactor could be considered skynet's core? or it is not true and regardles of the reactor beign destroyed skynet would continue to function?
Question 2:
In the Salvation film Marcus gets to Skynet tower and using its computarized software for a moment is able to conect with all Skynet network by using the control panel I know the control panel was nothing to skynet again as its intelligence lies in a non physical form destroying the panel was of no use as it proved that after destroying the panel and all the tower Skynet network was largely left untouched my question is considering that Marcus using the panel could fuse its mind into Skynet complete non physical network couldnt he had just shuted down Skynet? I mean I always wondered that if he was there why he didnt shuted the network down? I mean he disabled that turret in a whim he could have fucked the network, why didnt he do it?
Update:Jefry I NEVER stated that you did, isnt your resoning capacity enough to understand that my question is only to solve a dobut about a fictional universe saga?

Are you for real?
It's a movie! Not real!
one of the most upsetting things about films like salvation is that we can certainly buy into its own rules in its own universe, however, when characters and events go against the very grain created by the back story in the original formula, then i have a problem. Marcus didn't know he was abducted, he thought he was human...We see T-101's coming off the assembly line, but we don't have enough information at this point to determine what other machines were being produced at that specific time in history as well. I believe, although Marcus plugged into Skynet ala Neo in the Matrix or VIKI in I, Robot or etc., he reacted like any other human would - be overwhelmed, angered, sorrowed - i.e. irrational. Had he just been another T-101 off the Arnold Assembly line, I'm sure he would have just blew the whole thing sky high...or would he?...remember in T3, Arnold tells Katherine Brewster that he cannot self-terminate; perhaps Marcus, as a foot-soldier and part of the hive-mind, couldn't overcome this unique law, thus it is up to the humans to make the fate for themselves.
I think the reason behind it was that it wouldn't have mattered. Skynet got into EVERY computer in the world so that's my guess.
They would have stood a better chance of stopping it in 2 when Miles goes with them to the Skynet building.... but they had a backup network somewhere.
Skynet is sneaky. http://skynetresearch.com/
