One of the fake points against Bush is that he does "things" to keep gas prices high and makes invasions of oil rich countries to boost profits for big oil which makes his friends rich and he apparently gets other favors in return.
Its just mindless accusations and apparently the libs on here dont know what the great thinkers among them are pushing.
I was really happy too when I found out that on August 4, House Democrats passed crucial energy legislation, the New Direction for Energy Independence, National Security, and Consumer Protection Act.
The bill includes the Udall Renewable Energy Sources Amendment, which requires utilities to produce 15 percent of their electricity from clean and renewable sources like wind and solar by 2020.
Other highlights include making the federal government carbon neutral by 2050, creating "green collar" jobs in solar panel manufacturing and green construction, investing in biofuels, and paying for green initiatives by repealing $16 billion in tax breaks for oil and gas companies.
he doesn't set prices... I can't imagine anyone drawing that conclusion. But he does have a record of rewarding big oil with enormous tax breaks during a time of record profit and record price gouging. Oh, and we were all supposed to be willfully decieved by these words: tax breaks as an incentive for energy companies to explore "alternative energy sources". Apparently everyone was supposed to take that as "alternative energy"...but really what it meant was simply poking more holes in the ground in places like the great lakes, the gulf of mexico, and of course Alaska.
Alternative energy sources isn't the same as alternative renewable energy.

thanks for playing.
no, but his policies affect them. especially due to the fact the bush family got rich off oil, so they have a lot to gain from high oil prices.
Nope, those are set by OPEC.
Of course not.
