The more detailed, eloquent, well mannered by far was Obama.
McCain showed total disrespect towards Obama and it makes one wonder how disrespectful he behaves when confronted by World Leaders not to his liking ? A very scary thought.
It became very obvious as well that McCain lives in the past and also has lived so well for so long, that he has no clue what needs to be done to help the general population suffering greatly right now.
He said that he would pay the mortages for the people now losing their houses. That would be absolutely wonderful but not attainable.
The man is getting senile. And then the tought of the dimwit Palin at his side is giving me just about a Heart attack.
There is a lot of hope for us with Obama. The man is so extraordinary.
No knockouts, but I felt that Obama stayed closer to the actual questions. At one point, McCain when ask about how he would solve the social security issue stated that it is easy to solve...but then offered nothing other then they will discuss the options....what the hell is that?? If it is so easy...give us the answer....
No one really answered anything in great detail, but I still give it to Obama for his presidential demeanor.
Pretty even.
Obama came across as more 'presidential', as he did in the last one.
But McCain didn't do too badly - but he did come across as a little peevish, especially when he referred to Senator Obama as "That one".
Obama won by a small margin.
McCain needed to knock it out of the park, given how far behind he is, and did not.
It was hard for me to tell while it was going on. I thought McCain's demeanor was insincere. I liked what Obama said. McCain said a couple of really offensive things.
The poles --- even the republican poles -- say Obama won.
They should have asked more pertinent questions, rather than the same ole' - same ole''. I would have liked to hear a response to a question like this: "Obama, is it true you have voted to restrict the right of gun ownership in America"?". Or how about his one: "Obama, is it true you have ties with racist black separatists, such as Wright and Farrakhan, who are anti-white, anti-American?". And if these things are true....."what does that say about your character and judgment Obama?".
I wish they would ask questions that reveal who Obama is on the inside - not what his puppeteers have created for the public.
i would agree with your friends it was pretty even.. Neither candidate made a major blunder , also neither really had a "zinger" kind of a boring debate
The deshonorable Mccain was clearly blown away
Most people should check their so called facts before they open ones mouth and insert foot.
Obama go his butt handed to him !
