I recently went to the garage to have my tracking done. As my car was constantly steering to the left AND right.
I told the mechanic this and he said if the car is steering to the left AND the right it probably isn't the tracking. And it's some sort of bar/pipe or something that has worn down over time.
So i told him to just do the tracking anywah and i will come back later on in the week if it's still the same. Nevertheless i came out of the garage and it made no difference whatsoever. It was still steering to either side violently.
Problem is i can't remember what the mechanic told me what it could be. He said spmething was worn down and that might be the problem and not the tracking. Any ideas thanks.

It could be any joint in the steering or suspension system.
Worn suspension bushes, worn track-rod ends, worn ball-joints.
