Transfer Gun ownership?
I bought a handgun from my father. the gun isn't in my name and it wasn't in his either. Is there any way without finding out the original owner to transfer this thing into my name? I live in Missouri.

You don't have to do anything. There is no reason to call the BATF, they only regulate machine guns and other types of exotic weapons. Standard firearms like shotguns, rifles, and pistols are regulated by the state, and in your state there is no reporting or registration requirement.
contact the atf and tell them you want to register the gun in your name since your father bought it so long ago.
