It really doesn't matter as far as replacement parts or hop ups because they are both readily available almost anywhere.

Traxxas has been around for awhile and people love their RC's. So it really depends on what your looking for. You may be happy with it out of the box or may want to upgrade. Either way both are great. The customer support is outstanding too and you may want to call to see if they are offering any specials or discounts.

You can't go wrong on either one.
