I was wondering what other people's preferance in Tsuka length is and why. I study Muso Jikiden Eishin-ryu Iaijutsu, I'm 6' 2", I have bigger than average hands and I prefer to use a 13" Tsuka because short Tsuka actually hurt one of my hands since it pushes the bone of my right arm into my left hand so the 13" Tsuka allows for 1 hands space between my two hands when held with both hands. Of course most people use shorter Tsuka and some use longer Tsuka but I'm just curious about other people's preferance here.

14" for Togakure ryu. I like it because with the shorter blade feels much more controllable especially if there is grappling involved as well in the techniques. The length on the tuska can make up for the lost length of the blade with slide of the hands, the shorter blade allows you to draw faster also giving an advantage
