If you DO want to buy those info-lures,(Helicopter,Flying,Hydra), make sure to also buy an "Instant Fisherman" fishing pole system!
(teasin! lol)
Most infomercial-lures are trying to mimic other perfectly "established" lures that do the job as well, if not BETTER, than they do. I have owned the "Flying Lure System" and it was just a "glorified" Jig with an "interesting" design.
Although, I did catch fish, I caught the same amount with an everyday Jig. And, the "system" plastic body's were more expensive to replace than buying plain 'ole Jig Grub body's!
In other words, they may "work", but at what cost & TIME to find replacement "body's.
I have heard good and bad things about the Hydra. I think you can "duplicate" the "hydra" by purchasing some "Senko"-type "dead-stick plastic bait's.
Ask yourself: Do any pro B.A.S.S. or FLW guys use these bait's? And if they do, have they ever won a tourney with them?
Bottom Line, I would be "leary". Info-mercial's WERE designed to catch fishermen & not fish.
PS: There is no "easy method" to ALWAY's catch fish & be a succesful fisherman.
I have use many of them because at one time or another they had a calling in my shops so I ordered them in and like any lure I sell I use them!Any lure sold through TV is not a magic lure just a lure that can work under correct conditions just as any other lure on the market!
Ratings from my customers have been not worth buying to ok and as for me I would say save money and buy a pack of worms from a local tackle shop and you will have just as good luck with them!
I would say it will catch a fish on occasion, but is a fairly average bass lure. The great lure action you see on tv is not what the lure looks like in real life fishing. It's almost as if the lure on tv has no hook in it, thereby nothing to inhibit the action of the lure, but I could be mistaken, A great catching lure does not need an infomercial to create sales for it.But try it anyway. I have hundreds of lures that don't produce fish, doesn't bother me the least.
Never used these. Had the walking worm and helicopter lures though and they were a joke. Usually these TV lures are marketed where they catch the fisherman and not fish.
they all suck have you ever heard of a respectable pro pushing a flying lure or helicopter lure never it's guys like ron popiel that sell this crap he's a salesman not a fisherman talk to anglers and learn what works where you are from and let those guys sell their crap to some other suckers

ive heard bad things about the hydra lure. its one of those lures that advertises well, but isnt all that great.
They all suck! Anything you see about fishing in an infomercial is total crap! That's why no reputable tackle shop would sell that garbage.
