So my uncle for some stupid reason is against fixing male cats because he thinks it's "cruel" the cat ended up spraying in house on his child's belongings so my uncles girlfriend kicked the cat out. For the past few years it's been intact roaming the neighborhood impregnating cats.... Well it impregnated a feral (and when I say feral I mean this cat has had no human contact what so ever) cat and this female cat has made a home in their old car in their garage where it's recently had it's kittens. This cat is so feral that my uncle and his girlfriend can't even get near it without it hissing and growling at them so how will they be able to handle these kittens when they get older and socialize them?
Update:They are not going to handle them until the kittens are older as they know better then to do that & as I said he refuses to get Clearance fixed.

If they feed her, she may look at them in a different light. She needs lots of calories now, so it will be appreciated. Once the kittens are older and eating, they will learn that good things come from people. I have a cat that was born to a feral mother, but was being fed by a friend of mine. She came to me in a trap and is now the sweetest cat ever.
If they want to socialize the kittens, they're going to need to trap mama cat in the garage. If they keep making her feel threatened she's just going to move the kittens out of the garage into another place. They need to trap her and make sure to provide her with food and water and a litter box (she'll use the box if it's open and obvious, and she'll probably need wet food. It's closer to what she'd eat in the wild than dry food.) Once she starts weaning the kittens, you can take them. Otherwise you'll just have to wait. She'll leave the kittens once they're older to explore and such, you can play with them then. But your scent on them may cause her to stop nursing them, in which case you'll be in a whole other situation that you probably don't want to be in. I recommend catching your uncle's cat and neutering him. Or making a bond with mama cat and getting her spayed. There are places that will do it cheap, but they usually clip the ears of the cats to show they've been spayed/neutered. I recommend asking your local humane society where they get it done, or if they hav e any recommendations. Otherwise the cats'll just keep populating...
Well the mother of his child...don't tell me he is not married to her?!! So his attitude extends to humans. Did he see his child born? Did the gal have a good time? No she didn't. Cats go through that continually...what he is doing is adding to the suffering and misery of hundreds of cats....The mother of his child should take Clearance and have him neutered (they have a cosmetic neutering where the scrotum is still intact. ) Have Clearance 'disappear' for about a week ...got a friend or sympathetic neighbor that will keep him until the stitches are gone and then have a happy reunion to the 'surprise return' of Clearance. The kittens will be as feral as their Mother if they are not socialized almost immediately and then you will have more feral cats running around having more kittens and getting sick, hit by cars, fighting and suffering with wounds, abscesses etc. Your Uncle is one of those men that thinks he is denying the male cat a romantic evening....it isn't that way with cats..it is fighting and suffering. Handling the kittens (IF they could) will not keep the Mother from taking care of them...that is plain silly. She may get scared off...but if she leaves them so they can be gently handled and get used to humans, you might have a chance to get them to an animal rescue group...but please be prepared to donate money...rescuing cats is a pricey and time consuming process and the people who dedicate their lives to stopping the overpopulation of cats are doing it on their own time.
Call around and find a rescue group and they will bring in an experienced trapper (a feral cat can kill itself in an unattended trap ..and feral kittens will do the same when they are a bit older) and catch Mom and kittens and get Mom spayed and hopefully get a foster for the kittens and get them adopted out...but this is kitten season and everyone has their hands full because of people like your Uncle who refuse to neuter their cats. The kittens and Mom may be euthanized.
Please get Clearance neutered...your Uncle may scream and carry on but soon will realize Clearance will be a far nicer cat and less likely to roam and get hurt or killed if he is neutered.
One unspayed cat and her offspring will have 420,000 kittens in SEVEN years. About 75% of all cats entering shelters across the country will be euthanized. More than 12 million dogs and cats are euthanized in pounds and shelters across the country every year. Millions more are abandoned in rural and urban areas. The fact is there are simply not enough homes for them...I've seen female cats giving birth and male cats waiting and taking the kittens and killing them and eating them as the female struggles to give birth and try and protect her young. She may have trouble giving birth and die in the process. I've had to pull kittens out of the mother because they became lodged in the birth canal. Being pregnant is no fun and neither is giving birth nor trying to keep them fed and protected. They will get ticks and fleas. Again your Uncle is terribly misguided. (I would say stupid, but I won't ;)
