I first noticed uneven pupils somewhere around feb.-march of 2011. I was having weird headaches due to a new job and very stressed anxious at this time. I would have dizzy spells, numbness in face and other weird shaking sensations. The following tests were done: MRI, one with and one without contrast, MRA of the head and neck. Sleep EEG. Ultrasound of the arteries in the neck. CT scan of the chest with contrast. 2-3 CT scans of the head no contrast. All came back fine except for a 3mm pineal cyst which I have been told and read is a begnin cyst and "normal". The right eye is the one with the bigger pupil and the left eye with the smaller one. This is always the vase and not vice versa. Sometime the pupils are completely even but usually slightly different at the least. Sometimes the are rather noticeable uneven and other times very slightly and sometimes even. I also notice worse vision/blurred vision out of the right eye where the bigger pupil is, even when they are even. I saw an opthomolgist who found nothing wrong. I noticed the blurriness is fixed with pinhole and even when he dilated my pupils the anisocoria was still slightly present. I'm just curious if there could have been something missed or if its just normal seeing as sometimes they are even. I do take albuterol for asthma which I heard can cause uneven pupils but I've taken it since I was young and never had it happen then. Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.
Update:Yes the numbness was associated with the anxiety I believe. I think I subconsciously thought it was because of a tumor or anyuersm and I was going to drop dead. I got a nose bleed out of nowhere and I got so scared my whole face went numb. I am on lexapro for the anxiety which has helped but when I physically see things like the uneven pupils it makes me rather anxious. The optho told me that since the blurred vision goes away when I look through a pinhole its due to needing a stronger/different prescription. Its just very frustrating when no one can give me a definite answer and I always see online about uneven pupils and tumors and stuff but I've had like every test done. Its good to know I'm not alone though, because when I look in the mirror and see the unevenness it just makes me irritated and anxious.

I wish I had a good answer for this. I had a similar issue this summer. Blurred vision (scary stuff) and uneven pupils. I went to the eye doctor several times. Her answer to me was that everything was fine and she sees uneven pupils (she called it bouncy pupil) in a lot of young people. I told her it didn't seem fine with the blurry vision and she told me that was from dry eye. Have you noticed if the dizzy/blurred vision/numb face kicks in with anxiety? I've always had bad anxiety and I picked up on it one day when there was an accident in front of my house. I ran out the door and bam.. blurred vision/dizzy. Face numbness.. especially lips is a big anxiety thing. I used to even get nasal regurgitation when drinking water (gross). Of course all of these things only cause MORE anxiety. Mine finally went away after I got some anxiety meds and cut out some other meds that I think were messing up my vision. I hope that you can find an answer soon and you start feeling better.
the doctor's concerned, or you are? what do you mean that the size is uneven? one pupil is smaller? or does one eye move in a different direction? if it's only an occasional thing, i wouldn't worry.
If youf vision is perfect with or without glassess then do not worey but not 6/6 then met with ophthalmologist (eye dr) he/she will able to answer your all quaries.
