All right. I did something stupid... I accidentally deleted all the program files for a program. (Don't ask me how, because I'm not sure I could answer.) I didn't even realize it until it was too late; my Recycle Bin had automatically emptied itself, and the files were gone forever.
When I tried to uninstall it, I got an error message. I have no idea what it said, as it was a Japanese program. (Again, don't ask.) I tried to reinstall it so that it could be properly uninstalled, but that didn't work, either. Is there any way I can get rid of the remnants of this program?
Thank you very much for your time.

Eh, configuring your Recycle Bin to empty permanently is stupid in itself. Anyhow, I doubt that restoring the files from the Recycle Bin would have made the program to work again, unless it was something really simple. Then, what "remnants"? You said everything went down the drain. I think I'm going to have a stiff drink now.
Lol ok, well I'm not exactly sure you can fix this problem, but there are some approaches you can take. First of all, do any of your programs open? Because I don't exactly think the programs need the program files folder because it has its own folder called appdata. You can try doing a system restore and see if it will restore your program files folder.
Hi, Aisu there,
At this point, please perform a force uninstall option for your Japanese program's traces: search, locate its any remaining folder -> add it/them to a 3rd party professional uninstaller program.
Here's a thread you can refer to or follow, http://www.windowsuninstaller.org/techforums/index...
Thx and luck!
I have done same thing like you. Download the Revo Uninstaller. You can uninstall that program with this software. Thanks & Rate me plz
that can be done by performing a system restore to do a system restore....
