Hi, I've got a 2007 Vectra C and have a problem with the air con. We've topped up the gas twice over the past 4 weeks. After the first time they couldn't find a leak, so the second time they put some colour in there that would be visible in UV light if there's a leak. They also changed the air con radiator. At first it was fine, they couldn't see any leaks even with the UV light. Now a week or to later, the gas is very low again and they still cannot see anything in the UV light. It's not blowing cold air. They claim the compressor is working. What could it be?

2 places to check. Both high and low side scharder valves, evaperator core.
It sounds like you have taken you car to a repair place that at least has some equipment, that is a good thing. I know you understand you just can't keep throwing money at the problem. I'm surprised they didn't suggest that the leak could be in the evaporator, that is about the only place they can't shine the UV light. Here is a tip which may help you. If you have a leak no matter how small there will always be compressor oil that will leak out as well, look for a wet spot that has dirt stuck to it. You can be sure there is a good chance it is where your leak is.
