Walk at least 1/2 an hour instead of sitting at drawing room
Some people believe that just sitting idle is a great way to wind-down after a hard day and doing exercise is often the last thing on their minds. But a walk for half an hour instead of plunking down in front of the monitor can help you de-stress, clear your mind and set you up for a relaxing evening and a great night's sleep. You can make the walk even better if you take your partner, children or your pet with you.
get the insanity ma! if you know anyone who has it, have them burn it, unless you got money...you will lose weight in the first week i GUARANTEE it..p90x has a good ab workout, i like it..but INSANITY is the shizzles..
if you can't get them, do 6 inches, crunches, obliques, sit-ups, push ups, jumping jacks as long as you can, bicycles, reverse bicycles, shadow box, jump rope, jump squats, bunny hops, squats...there's alot more, i can't think of em though, but as long as you sweat for at least 30 minutes a day, you will see BIG results..then the next week or 2, push it to 45 minutes a day...it's ok to miss a day or 2, just get back on it..and after the first week, the pain and aches will fade, just fight through it.. above all, do not stop, rehydrate, vitamins and minerals, try to only take sips between workout..big gulps causes side pain
There are several good video workouts available from those that incorporate weights to "dancey" ones like YogaBootyBallet's Hip Hop Abs. You will lose weight all over, but can choose to tone your abs and thighs more:
always have vegetables on hand saute a big bag of frozen mixed vegetables in olive oil and garlic add some red pepper or turmeric for additional flavor and separate into portion sized containers for the fridge
In order to tone up your stomach you need to lower the fat percentage as well as build up muscle. You can't just tone up one or two body parts. The way to do it is a mix between cardio and strenght training. Pilates is very good to build up lean and dancer like muscles. You can find excercises at youtube.
You should also eat clean food. Just make sure to do the cardio part to burn away fat as well as the pilates part to tone up those muscles.
