For your diet, research the Paleo diet. It's kind-of a "caveman" diet, where you eat proteins, veggies and stuff that our ancient ancestors would have been able to access. My whole family does this diet and my dad is actually too thin now! It has helped alot of my health issues - my period is now regular, I no longer have back pain, and I am no longer feeling suicidal. If you keep to the Paleo diet and swear off sugars (unless in the occasional fruit [fructose]), gluten (in breads, pasta, etc.), and starch (potatoes), you will begin to lose weight almost immediately. The first week I began the Paleo diet I lost 10 lbs.
As for exercise, try just walking an extra mile a day to start. When you feel able to do so, try increasing your pace as you go. Soon you'll be fit and fast!
Depends how much exercise you do and how committed you stay, don't work yourself too much or do crash diets, they dont work but that is a lot of weight to loose, don't over work yourself or do anything that can harm your health.
