Weight loss question?!?

Im a girl. I weigh around 187-189, and im 5'8. I want to get to around 150-155 pounds. My doctor said however, that I do have a lot of muscle mass, because of all the sports I play. She said for my build that 160 would be a healthy weight. But I would rather be in the 150 range.

Is it possible/probable that I could lose around 35 pounds in around 4 months???
