A year ago I was 130ish
But since then I have been through some major losses in my life and I have been placed on three Psych meds and now weigh 176.
I can't seem to loose it. I have tried eating healthier, exercising and hell, I even tried NOT eating.
I don't know what to do. I am 17 and 5 foot 3 inches. How do I do lose at least ten pounds, if not, maybe MORE weight?

You should never not eat. If you don't eat, you will go into starvation mode, and lower your metabolism.
At the age of 17, you should not be trying to lose weight at all unless you have consulted a healthcare provider. That is the case until you reach the age of 20 years and 1 month. Instead of trying to lose weight, you should try exercising to turn the excess fat into muscle. Some exercises you can do can be found at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1--Baq-8CrAtmM5... .
Because you will be losing fat without losing much — if any — weight, I recommend that you stop using BMI. Your BMI of 31.2 will not matter once you have started gaining muscle because BMI assumes you have no muscle at all. Instead of using BMI, I recommend that you instead use body fat percentage. A body fat calculator can be found at https://sites.google.com/site/calculateyourbmi/all... .
Dont try not eating it's a very bad idea. I'm guessing that you're not blessed with a speedy metabolism so it will be hard for you to lose weight. What you should do is make sure you're eating the right amount of food. If youre body is starving you can loser muscle and you might hold on to fat. Make gradual changes in your lifestyle that you think you can maintain. For me, I decided to drink only water(its not a big deal if I sometimes drink other things), I eat at restaurants much less, and I run 20 miles a week. Just drink lots of water and eat whole foods like chicken, fish, vegetables, fruit, and others things like yogurt and whole grains. Don't worry so much about your weight. Take your time and focus on how you look instead of your weight. I feel confident just because I run now. Good luck!
its a lifestyle change. and its going to take time... number one reason why people don't lose weight is cause after a week they give up. Steady diet and exercise for months is what its going to take.
