I need to lose around 15-20 pounds. I am going through a divorce, have a 7 month old son, and a full time college student so I do not have the time to have a gym membership. Most of my weight is in my tummy, behind, and thighs so I need to know some exercises that I can preform at home. My husband used to be real ugly when it came to the baby fat that was left over from my pregnancy so I want to lose this weight not only to show him up but to feel better about myself. I know about drinking lots of water, and cutting out junk food. But I want to know about specific exercises I can do. Thanks!

To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing.
As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight... not that you "should be X pounds", but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that
That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more

You can't "spot" treat fat loss. You need to focus on losing your fat ratio overall and it will happen in time. i.e. doing crunches won't help you lose fat in your tummy. It will help strengthen the muscles UNDERNEATH your fat, but that's all. You need to focus on burning calories. Burning more than you take in.
This means Cardio! Go for a half hour jog every other day. Jump rope, go rollerblading, swimming, climb steps. WHATEVER! You want to burn calories, eat less of them and drink loads of water.

I recommend eating smaller portions, and it works, eat more brown rice, and the portion size for meats, fish, and pork, should be no bigger than the size of your palm , and your starch should be no bigger than the size of your fist, this works for me, but sometimes i go overboard, and gain it back, i never had a weight gain in my whole entire life until i gave birth to my 2 school age sons, (they are worth it tho), but to keep your weight down, try to go jogging first thing in the morning, take health supplements, ( i recommend 24 hour fitness gym to work out also,) already i lost some LBS, hope this helps!!
