I saw a friend today who is two months and one day postpartum...and I noticed that although the rest of her body is thin as a stick, her belly still looks as though she's about 4 months pregnant.
how long did it take for you to not look like you were pregnant?

when my son was 1 month old. then thanks to depo i gained weight so it kinda looks like i still have it. lol luckly i dont care.
It only took a week or so after my first son. it took longer after my second one though. I also wore a postpartum girdle though that helped me shrink back down faster. By 2 months postpartum with both kids I was the same shape and weight that I was pre pregnancy. Everyone is different though. I know I'm one of those lucky b*tches who's naturally thin and elastic. I'm a size 2.
The bulk goes down right after birth, but some can still look 6 months pregnant for a little bit after, I got back into most of my pre pregnancy tops, and my bigger sized pre pregnancy jeans at about 4 months post partum
But weight wise, pre pregnancy I was 110-115 and jumped to 165, and dropped 10 right away, weight of baby and the fluids and placenta, and I am currently 5 months post partum and at about 135
Some people bounce back fast, like myself, others take longer, most say it can take 9 months to come off completely, 9 months to put it on, 9 to take it off
My bump disappeared more or less straight after birth I had a wee bit of flab that vanished about 3 days after birth. 2 weeks along the line and im back to a flat tummy and fitting into size 6 clothes again. Ive not been doing any exercises or anything either. Everyone is different I think I was one of the lucky ones :).
My baby bump went WAY down even before I left the hospital, after having my son. When he was 1 month old, I didn't even look like I just had a baby. By the time he was 6 months old, I weighed 118 pounds, which is what I weighed pre-pregnancy.
Mine still looks flabby, I had a c section and find I swell up and go sore all the time and I can't seem to loose my belly.. I'm only now trying to eat better and exercise as I need to loose over a stone to be healthy.
