When do cruise lines (Royal Carib.) give your liquor back?
I know that they give back any liquor your purchased at port or in the ship's duty free store on the last day, but when? Early in the day, or at night?
They will give you a receipt for your liquor when they take it and you can pick it up on the morning of your departure from the ship. At least that's how they did it on the many cruises I have done with them. They do not want you getting into that bottle at all.
The last night of the cruise or very early the morning you leave.
Anything liquor you buy in ports will be taken once you get back on the ship. You will fill out a form and it will be delieverd with the rest of the liqour you buy on the ship.
I just got back Saturday from a Royal Caribbean cruise on the Liberty of the Seas and they were dropping of the liquor on Friday afternoon, the day before we got off the ship.
They brought it back before the luggage had to be out in the halls.
One suggestion....if you buy liquor, DO NOT put it in your checked bags, put it in your carryon. I saw three different people at the port in Miami dumping out broken bottles and ruined clothes while waiting for the bus to go to the airport.
On the cruises I have been on they give it back to you the day before disembarkation. Usually they deliver it in the afternoon so you can pack it in your luggage, which they pick up later that night.
