3-6 months. when the smell changes its time to be thrown out. but if your using it on your brows its okay if you use it a few weeks after expiration although its not recomended. but if the smell still hasnt changed after 6 months i would still throw it away

i dont think mascara expires, i know that u should replace mascara every year because of bacteria but if its clumping its might just b because its dryinng out and u might wanna get a new one, but u could try using one of those metal or plastic eyelash comb thingys to get the clumps out,

i don't think mascara has an expire date but if it starts to smell then bin it and also change your mascara evey now and then cause all the bactria will clump up on the brush
