I consider what is said, why it was said, and the circumstances under which it was said. Some criticism is constructive and helpful, other criticism is intended to be hurtful.
The hurtful kind I just let go of, it's not worth my time; besides, the person doing the criticizing is rarely in a civil or rational mood. And, I agree that it is just an opinion, to get upset about it would give credence to the claim.
Depends on what they say, but my brain takes the criticism for maybe a day, thinking "hm, is that so? Why would they say that?" if I can't give myself a good reason why, might as well disregard right? Can't change who you are.
I dont react back usually . Because i can afraid to . But definately you should because when we dont usually do it, it gets even worse and people think that we are weak . So they do it more. So you shouldn't be as weak as i am!

I'm the type of person who doesn't react to the person who said it, but in my head it drives me crazy and I think about it over and over again
