Hi Cutie! I am answering your question on my Acer Laptop right now. It has a great Atom processor and the resolution is the best. It is relatively inexpensive compared to others, but dollar for dollar it will give you more features than most, and better quality. I hooked up an Acer 19 inch monitor to it, an external full-sized keyboard and a mouse and it actually works better than my desktop computer, it's faster and the built in monitor is excellent. The only thing that's better on my home computer is the time it takes to download stuff. I highly recommend Acer. I really, really love mine.
Most companies make and sell laptops. If you want to get something with Windows on it then have a look at HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer - they all do good laptops. If you want to use Mac OS X, then you'll need an Apple Mac (Macbook, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air)...

Hope this helps!!
i suggest hp-!
in my share of experience its been the best.
my lastest comp is dell... i regret it soo much-
it sucks when i play games cuz all the f keys have seperate functions...
the speaker and the cam sucks -.-
but its a bit cheaper. so if youre just looking for a normal laptop dell's good just get a seperate cam
o- and im not 100% sure but i think dell heats up less than hp--
XPP
