I get it if I don't take tetracycline pills. It may not work for everyone, but when I stop taking it, the acne gets painful and it isn't even about appearance anymore. For the most-part now, my skin is mainly clear, but every so often I still get a doozy. It's better than getting many "doozies". The pills really don't seem to affect my sensitivity to sunlight, and I don't have any side-effects from it, so it's worth it to me.
I've started breaking out recently and my doctor thinks it may be hormonal since i have never had acne before not (I am 22 years old). I am on my 2nd month of Yaz. The hormones in the BCP are supposed to help hormonal acne. Fingers Crossed!
