And what are your favorite sections? Why?
It's my favorite piece of music.
I love Mozart's Requiem too.
My favorite sections are:
- Introitus (first movement)
- Kyrie eleison
- Dies irae
- Tuba mirum
- Rex tremendae
- Recordare
- Domine Jesu Christe
- Benedictus
- Lux aeterna (last movement)
I think most of classical music lovers love Mozart's Requiem.
My favorite version is Sir Neville Marriner/Academy of St Martin in the fields on Philips label.
I like the beginning Introitus and Kyrie the best followed by La Crimosa.
Mass in c minor is equally good. I recommend Philip Herreweghe version on Harmonia Mundi.
Me too!!!
Mozart! man what a great man, What a great composer
He should be worshipped by every musician
I really like the Confutatis Maledictis
The strong accents of the timpanis on the first beats are so amazing
and the dark rich vocals. "Confutatis! maledictis!"
and those blazing strings ascending the A scale!!
Jesus christ. Mozart's music is so simple if you think about it. so simple.
Yet nobody (yes nobody) made better and more enjoyable music than him
Requiem, dies irae, confutatis. Lacrymosa
:)))))))))))))))))))))))
the best musical piece ever written :)
I can't decide which part, it's just beautiful from beginning until the end.
