Who just loses a book?
I'd been reading this book for a few days, it was in my car. I've searched everywhere, tore the house apart and everything, and I've no clue where I put it. I didn't take it anywhere, but my car and home.
Anybody ever lose something that just doesn't make any sense?

yes I have, I write my name on my books, they have been returned to me because of it too
I lost some books and found them after a few days and about ur case, I can some advice! "Keep LOOKING!"
And if you want to find it the way I did, then....
1) First, go through your car, look under the seats, in the bonnet, the most unlikely places where your book can be!
2) Look through your ROOM! even if you KNOW it never came in your house! Look under the bed, in drawers, cupboards, cabinets, almirahs, etc., etc.
3) Look at the places you instinctively look again and again, even if you know that it's not there! Even, try the washing room. And if you don't mind, the bathroom!
4) If you have a room very messy and dirty, clean it up! Your sure to find it then, if the room's your own!
5) Try asking everyone about the book. Even kids! They have keen eyesight and somehow manage to remember everything they've ever seen!
6) Have any maids in your home? Or a driver? Ask them! Tell them the title, the place you last saw it and how the cover looked!
7) Do you go to any parks daily? Ask the people there if they have seen a book lying around lately. Mention the day if you remember it!
8) Try to remember the place where you last saw it! Or the places you had thought of keeping it before deciding against it!
These are BOUND to work, although, in my case, no. 3 worked FINE!!! I found 'em out in a sec!
Yeah, I do this often. But the other day I couldn't find a piece to the vacuum cleaner, I searched my house from top to bottom. A few hours after searching, I finally found it outside in the trash can, Yuck.
all the time! i usually try to eliminate all the places that it can't be, and when i am done, whatever is left over is where it is. if i still can't find it, i get mad and kick a chair and hurt myself, after i have hopped around a lot on one foot it often turns up, bc the gods have had their sacrifice.
if that doesn't work, i just forget about it and it shows up 3 weeks later when i am finished looking!
You either put it in a not-normal spot, or you left it behind somewhere
