Critics can be just as biased as supporters, anyone who's ever been to any form of football match will know that ;)
I value my own opinion higher than I value anyone elses, and I don't really have anyone in my life who I would consider to be a critic. Some are critical of me some of the time, but to label them critics would be misleading. They are supportive sometimes as well, in fact they are supportive most of the time.
Having said that, when these people are critical of me I do take more notice than when they support me. I guess I just expect the support, so if I don't get it, I figure I must be doing something wrong and I take note of that.
A stranger who's being critical or supportive barely registers with me. I'm not very big on what people say, I judge them by their actions.
Well I could lie and say that I value a critic's opinion more, but the truth, is if we're talking about religion, I usually value a supporter's opinion more. On rare occasions I stumble across theists whose opinions I find to be refreshing and intellectually stimulating. Key word there is rare.
In other areas of life, for instance, my writing, I value the critic's opinion more. That's what helps me improve. This is of course assuming the critic is someone who knows how to write as well as recognize good literature.
Three critics, a supporter, and two bystanders arguing.
One or two critics might be overly biased against something, and may be exagerating. A supporter is clearly biased, but actually knows the subject. The bystander is able to be influanced based on the quality of the other's arguements.
It depends on the tone. I've heard critics spew venom, and well, that's just not helpful. I've wished supporters were more honest. At least I know a supporter isn't mean-spirited, and I can press for the truth...so I'd have to go with supporter....but I need to be able to change my mind depending again....
would depend on the critic or supporter involved would value both and consider which I believed to be more honest. critics can at times help you improve supporters sometimes help you when you need it, of coarse opposite can also be true but mostly the one who honestly knows what they are criticizing or supporting
I should value the critic's opinion because he is unbiased and a professional in that field of study, whether it be the arts, literature, etc. But I usually stay with my same kind and value people's opinions that are the same as mine.
If the critic is dispassionate and not invested in my feelings one way or the other - the critics. We love people who support us because they support us often even when we are in the wrong.
Depends on the issue. I value a critic's opinion b/c it alerts me to the weaknesses of my own position. But mostly, I value calm, rational dialogue, regardless of who it's coming from.
Opinions are like as*holes, everyone has one. I respect people who respect my opinion. Just because they are a critic doesn't mean that they are unbiased. They could be biased in the opposite direction. I listen to all sides, but a lack of intelligence usually results in an unintelligent opinion, but this doesn't mean that intelligent people are automatically correct.

The truth is usually in the middle.
A supporter will reinforce the positives and leave out the negatives. A critic will exaggerate the negatives and fly over the positives.
The only opinion I value, is my own.
