well, you look totally different but you are both cute.

unfortunately the people we like are not always attracted to us but that doesn't mean you are less pretty.

For instance, I am only 5'9" and I always dreamed I would end up with a cute, petite, girl, who was my size or shorter. Unfortunately they are mostly attracted to guys who are 6'0" or taller, but I don't think that makes me ugly cause cute girls talk to me they are just tall as hell and I have to wear big shoes instead of like flops or whatever but I do cause i live at the beach and its weird when we go out cause they wanna wear heels and well you get the idea. different strokes for different folks. but you are just as pretty and your time will come.
