You will get a violation notice. But you're asking us why? How can we say why when we don't know the answer or question that was reported? The violation notice email will tell you which answer or question it was. If you still don't see why it was a violation, then come here and ask. But be sure to give the information necessary for someone here to determine why it was reported. If an answer, be sure to include the question that you answered. Community Guidelines isn't a person who answers questions. But someone here would likely know why it was a violation once you know what answer or question was reported.

If you were chosen as best answer and someone felt like it violated the guidelines then they reported you, and yes you can lose the 10 points for best answer.

This is just a guess, but if you had a Best Answer and Yahoo staff deleted the question because it--not your answer--violated their guidelines, then you'd probably lose the ten points you'd earned for Best Answer.
