Yesterday I came across a Japanese site and I thought that the girl on the front page was really pretty, so I posted a question with the link and asked "do you agree with me that she's pretty?" It probably wasn't worth the 5 points, but I was kinda bored and all, so yeah. But why did Yahoo delete that question? I didn't say any inappropriate words or anything.
?????
Update:to Injured Binga:
Thanks for your answer, but... WHY was it against the guidelines? If I knew that I wouldn't have asked this question.

The reason is "chat". You cannot ask about how something looks or anything like that. This link should help you out.

Your question is very similar to the last example for why it's chat.
It is against the guidelines because Yahoo intends the site to be for the sharing and gaining of general knowledge.
Asking for opinons about the attractiveness of someone isn't general knowledge. It is simply the exchange of opinions.
It's considered "chatting" - go to the YA 'help' section & read the Community Guidelines.
:o)
It is against the rules.
'Read Them!!!!' That is what they are there for.
Chat.
From Yahoo. (I am not part of Yahoo)
Here are a few examples of what we consider chatting:
How (are you, old are you, was your day, is everyone today)?
What are you/What am I (doing, thinking of, wearing, etc.)?
Guess my/Can you guess my/What's your (name, age, sex, weight, birthday, location, etc.)?

Also from Yahoo.
Just to clarify, it’s fine to be conversational within your actual question or answer. But if you’re still unsure about what’s considered chat, here are a few examples to help clear up the confusion:
Chatty: “Do you like my poem?”
Better: “How can I improve my poem?”
Chatty: “Do you like my avatar?”
Better: “How do I make my avatar look more fun or attractive?”

It was against YA guidelines
Sorry, in some cases it is called soliciting to invite others to agree with your opinions
Just that some one reported it and Yahoo agreed. I do not always agree with the rules but it offended some moron and they reported you. I wish I could give you a better answer but I have not seen the link. Just My best guess.
Don't give up!
Yahoo! hoestly believes it can change the world, one sissy at a time
