At times its on the left side, at times on the right side. when i move my shoulder, i feel the pull, i don't know how to quite describe it. like a pull, feeling on ribs. something like that
is it related to physical exercise that i did.

Could be a muscle pull or tense muscles...yes sometimes a muscle pull could be due to physical exercise, especially if you didn't warm up properly or are not used to using those particular muscles
Chek with your doctor
It may be due to gas or blood pressure problem
