So I read online that alcohol WITHDRAWAL worsens depression but for me, I feel when I'm actually drunk. I don't understand why because I thought it was supposed to make you happy and relaxed but it doesn't work for me.

I think it affects people differently. It can make some people very aggressive. Look at the street fights that go on because of alcohol. It's not for everyone, and it's not for you.
