I am originally from Palestine and I look White European. The case is the same with many of Palestinians and Levant Arabs (Lebanese, Syrians, Jordanians and Palestinians).
I do have some Arab features (a larger nose, sort of bushy eyebrows) but overall people always guess that I am just "regular" White.
Why? Aren't we Arabs? Why do we look different than Gulf Arabs? Do we have European blood in us?
Update:@Mike thank you for replying. Let us assume that the 12 tribes of Israel inhabited the area at the time you are speaking of; let us assume that it is the "Jewish homeland". Sometime during the last 1000 years, Muslim Arabs occupied the region and it became an Arab land (the same way you say the 12 tribes "wiped" few domains/kingdom). Why do the Jewish people have the right to forcefully take land that does not *CURRENTLY* (in 1948) belong to them?
You are sinful because you support the idea of people taking land of innocent peoples homes (like my family's).

Arab could be argued as something that is more of a culture and a language at the present time even if far bloodlines could be traced back to the arabian peninsula because even Ismael(the grandfather of Mohammad-the prophet of Islam)was not an arab of that time but he just lived with them.Humanity’s past is full of migrations,immigrations,colonizations,”miscegenations”(on the good old assumptions of relative levels of discriminating/exaggerated “racial” variations:like they seem to be much more than mere characteristics and adjustment features of diversity)and environmental adaptations and even genocides,silent genocides and historical editions,lies and denials.Even the native american tribes might've moved there from somewhere else(probably even as something else)in the earlier past.Ofcourse there are many of the alleged arabs that would traditionally say you are an arab or even a “purer” arab if you were palestinian BECAUSE of your whiter skin tone.But things like this and the relative sentimentally attached mentalities and practical-at times more implicit-pride and prejudice in things that they had no hands in are part of the excessively abused tools that probably kept and would still keep on keeping most of the arab world retarded while they or many them would be paradoxically wondering like dummies why the palestine that their grandfathers(or whom they would consider as their grandfathers)historically conquered sometime in the past as muslims is mostly known as israel now…
Why people around this world are so concerned of being white or black? Is world composed of only being white or black? Why do people always want to equate themselves with the people called the 'white people'? In one of my answers on this website, I have already tried to explain that. As per the research conducted by the scientist community, it has been found that the skin colour of the so called 'white people is not actually white'. Rather,It is different shades of pink colour. if ,you are so concerned being white and would feel happy if told that you looklike a European than let me tell you this, do only Europeans have the right to call themselves white? Omg, im the same way. Both my parents are Palestinian (my dad was born in Libya) but my whole family, except for my dad and little sister look white. My dad looks arab cuz he was born in an Arab country. and my mom was born in texas. I had the same question too, until my dad told me it was because of my genes. I am full palestinian, but one of my ancestors moved to italy and his son was born there, so, therefore, I look italian/white.

I think some people just have it in their genes, for example a great great great great great uncle or maybe grand father of yours could have looked just like you, and you just so happened to look like him.
