It's naive Since Corozine and Deeds both lost.
Not to mention Mayor Bloomberg won again. I'd rather a Republican win mayor in a big metropolitan area that determines the entire state in a Presidential election(Since the population is so huge). Then a stupid election over the 23rd district of NY.
That's where the real loss is. Enjoy your 23rd district. I'll enjoy Bloomberg virtually changing NY City, which if goes in his favor makes NY Republican due to the heavy population.

Sarah Palin is celebrating too... =D
Voice of Reason said it right. I don't think Dems hate all Republicans--they just hate the insanely ancient conservatives and Neocons who have represented my party for the last decade. Bush Sr. was a good Republican, a moderate Republican. Limbaugh needs to give in to the more moderate type of Republican or craft a new party. He has the power to do it. It could mix everything up, but otherwise these whacky conservatives like Palin and Hoffman will keep getting trampled on. Our Federal Deficit can't afford Reagans and Bush Jr.'s anymore.
HOFFMAN HASN'T LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm getting annoyed at people that keep saying that he did. Not a single network has projected anything. There is a 1500 vote difference and 11000 absentee ballots left. Gees!
That said, there were about 100,000 people in that NY district as opposed to a total 4,000,000 people that voted in NJ and VA. That's a BIG difference. It doesn't matter. The liberals will get badly walloped next year. Can't wait.
You are not from NYC, and Bloomberg is not republican. His an independent. He is clearly, not ideologically swayed by any left or right ideology. His more of a pragmatic individual. To even suggest that NYC is anything but liberal /Democrat majority, is hilariously funny. LOL You must be drinking tonight.
Because in the New York 23rd, the Republicans self-destructed and liberals hope that will continue to happen across the country.
Bloomberg was actually sweating during the vote counting, nobody expected that.
Changing NY City? By re-electing the incumbent? Also, have you seen the rest of the city council? http://elections.nytimes.com/2009/results/index.ht...
Read what "Voice Of Reason" above said, and you'll have your answer. They're already spiraling out of control like Darth Vader's Tie Fighter trying to figure out what happened tonight.
Their denial is good for us though. The longer they deny, the less they'll address the problems they need to fix if they don't want any more losses handed to them.

Hoffman is supported by all the conservative ELITE, all the top wackos are supporting him: BECK, LIMBAUGH, BACHMANN, PALIN.
With that knowledge in mind, NY will never vote him!!
I celebrate it because it proves conservative politics is dead. I'm fine with republicans winning as long as they are not conservatives
They are irrational
